PREPARING THE ROOF – SHED RUBBER

STEP 1
Open the box and familiarise yourself with the products supplied.
Please also read this installation guide in its entirety before starting!
STEP 2
(If you are replacing an existing shed roof covering)
Carefully remove the existing timber edge trims (fascias). Put them to one side if they are in good condition so you can re-fit them later.
Remove the old roof covering (usually felt), remove any exposed nails and all sharp surfaces and repair/replace any rotten deck boards. We recommend using OSB3 board if you need to fully replace them.
STEP 3
Ensure that your deck surface is clean, dry, frost-free and free from dust, grease, loose material, and other contaminants.
Unwrap the membrane sheet, and place it unfolded on the shed roof, ensuring you have equal coverage.
Wait for approximately half an hour for the EPDM to relax.
