STEP 1

Carefully strip 3 courses of tiles from the adjoining roof and remove the roofing battens.

Carefully lift the existing pitched roof underlay and apply contact adhesives to the back of the membrane and to the roof lay board.

Once the contact adhesive has tacked off, stick the EPDM membrane to the layboard.

Carefully strip 3 courses of tiles from the adjoining roof and remove the roofing battens.
Lap the roof underlay over the top of the membrane and re-attach the tile battens.

STEP 2

Lap the roof underlay over the top of the membrane and re-attach the tile battens.

STEP 3

The top of the EPDM membrane must be at least 300 mm up behind the bottom of the lowest tile
