The largest EPDM roofing sheet you can buy from Flexiproof is 6.10m x 30m. The biggest size EPDM sheet you can buy from ClassicBond is 15m x 30m.
However, if you’re undertaking a large roofing project, it may be more difficult to successful install an incredibly large sheet of EPDM due to its size and weight. An EPDM roofing sheet that’s 10m x 15m can weigh up to 225kg.
At Rubber Roofing Direct, we recommend buying two smaller EPDM roofing sheets as it makes the delivery and installation more manageable.
When installed correctly by the seams, two sheets of EPDM rubber makes the installation far easier. How to install a rubber roof?
Installing multiple sheets of EPDM rubber is doable because of the joining system Flexiproof sheets have to offer. This particular rubber roofing system comes in a range of standard sizes and is designed to be joined together when applied to your roof.
Although many believe that having just one large sheet of EPDM rubber is the best solution and needs no onsite joining, the jointing technology of our EPDM rubber systems are designed to give you the best results.
Bonding other sheets together are as strong as the actual membrane itself. This means that you can confidently bond several sheets together which is easier and practical than trying to install one large sheet of EPDM rubber.
